Boiling down 4 years of hard work, here I am. Closing the door on a wonderful four years at university is never as straightforward as it might sound. Yeah! I'm finally feed from exam stress and assignment datelines. It feels wrong to say "finally" when the past four years have absolutely flown by. Time flies when you're having fun! Minus the days when I cursed my lecturers and falling asleep at 4am. As exciting and surreal as it can feel finishing university, it's pretty normal to feel a mix of feelings since there are a bunch of options in front of me, to join the corporate world or to travel.

Being a student, I have my fair share of amazing days and not-so-amazing days. When I first left home, 4 years back I wasn't exactly sure which path was I heading to. Worrying which direction I should chose in this fork in the road. I was excited but at the same time a little scare of the new reality. I learn, explore, make new friends and get to know me as an individual self. who I am at 18 is not necessarily the same person I'll be at 30. Finding myself at 18 would have meant that I loved eating junk food, drastically change my hair to unicorn and spending hours on MSN. Whereas through everyday life experiences and age, we recreate ourselves.

"Don't measure your progress with someone else's ruler."

University meant years of laying a foundation for the future. The friends I have made here and the experiences we have shared in and out of campus are also one which I will never forget, especially those late night McDonalds runs. Every little encounters will remain within my memories for life long. I would be lying if I said I wasn't sad to be leaving.

Well, its truly overwhelming and it's true that life comes in chapters. Good and bad. Easy and though. Knowing I am a completely different person than the acne-ridden, wisdom-tooth freshman nervous about meeting her roommate to who I am today made me realize how much I grew up in university.
